 1967 / 1972

Bargoni lavora utilizzando tecniche e materiali differenti.

 1980 / 1985

Periodo di viaggi in Europa. Primo viaggio in Canada e negli Stati Uniti. Severa autoicritica del lavoro precedente. Decide di ripartire dalla pittura ad olio.

 1986 / 1990

Bargoni / Biographie

Bargoni / Biography

 1960

A long stay in Spain where he associates with artists and critics. He becomes friends with J.E.Cirlot with whom he corresponds for a long period of time. He is fascinated by the work of Tapies..

 1962 / 1966

Period in Ravenna where he studied mosaic techniques that greatly influenced his subsequent work. Extended stay in Paris where he acquainted and frequented Sonia Delaunay’s studio, as well as attended engraving courses at Stanley Hayter’s Atelier 17.

He created numerous engravings and organized exhibitions showcasing this technique.
Some of his works were acquired by the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome and by the Museum of Modern Art in Turin. In collaboration with fellow painters Carreri, Esposto and Stirone he co-founded the Tempo 3 group in Genoa. The group aimed to establish a new creative methodology based on studies of phenomenology of language and psychology of form. Among the young painters, an informal atmosphere was prevalent, the informal represented a gateway to Europe and the United States, an escape route from provincialism, and an openness to the most vital contemporary currents. Gruppo Tempo 3 sought a different language: an alternative yet inclusive path to informal art, while acknowledging the underlying structure of geometric abstraction that remained a prominent force in the art scene of those years.

Consequently, invitations to conferences in Verucchio and San Marino arrived (where the Group’s poetics declaration is documented in the records) along with discussions on the terms and meaning of the visual arts. Through meetings with critics and artists, the research path of each individual was defined and acquired personal characteristics.
